"Parc des Chutes (Falls Park) offers hiking trails into a world of discovery, two footbridges providing access to the riverbanks and a 33-m (108-ft.) waterfall.
This site provides great photo opportunities and is ideal for nature lovers and picnickers. An old hydroelectric power plant located at the foot of the falls has been restored and is producing electricity once again. The Rivière-du-Loup tourism office organizes guided tours focusing on the history of hydroelectric power development in the town as well as on the geomorphology of this site."

I also visited the St. Patrick Church in the town. Rivière-du-Loup has 3 parishes and St. Patrice is the oldest (1833).
