What better surrounding like this could one ask for for morning exercises?
Zhao, Su, Cao and myself were doing Eight Brocade, Swimming Dragon and Tai Chi in front of the iconic MIT dome on the Charles, with the Boston skyline on the other side of the river. These are probably some of the most recognized landmarks of Boston.
It was cloudy, the temperature was 32 degrees at 7:30AM, but there was no wind.
QiGong and Tai Chi involves deep exhalation and inhalation during the stretches and movements with the so called diaphragmatic breathing, it goes without saying, these exercises should be done preferably outdoor where the fresh air is.
