Ben and Jerry started the ice cream business after they took a mail-order ice cream making course and developed it into a global enterprise.
The factory we visited is smaller than expected. The manufacturing process is automated with workers attending to and assisting the machines, no photo are allowed in this part of the tour.
We are told all employees could take 3 pints of ice-cream home everyday! They could not sell it, but sending as gift to anyone, you are surely winning people's fondness for you!
In the flavor room, the 10 most popular flavored ice cream are listed. Everyone gets to try a little sample of one of the favorited ice cream.
A shop is at the end of the tour for us to buy souvenir and surely enough, ice cream!
